Storeperson
LOCATION:
Townsville - Truck Centre, Queensland
As our Stores Person, you will be responsible for delivering outcomes to our customers, using your attention to detail and safe work practices to pick, prepare and receipt stock. Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will contribute to team success and expand your skills, and enjoy a variety of work, where no 2 days are the same!

What we are looking for:
- Previous work experience in a similar role
- Working knowledge of in-house software programs
- Administrative skills to include recording and presenting data
- Australian work rights and valid manual driver licence are required
- Ability to accurately interpret and complete relevant documentation.
- Knowledge of motor vehicles and heavy machinery
- High School Certificate – Year 12 (preferrable)
- Forklift licence is required
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate stock reports to support business decisions.
- Collect parts from suppliers and freight companies.
- Report stock shortages to the Parts Manager.
- Receipt, check, and verify incoming stock; notify relevant departments promptly.
- Pick, package, and dispatch customer and service orders; deliver when required.
- Maintain retail and stock shelves for the Sales, Service and Parts Departments, and for our Customers.
- Build strong relationships with freight providers and monitor freight costs for recovery.
- Ensure stock is clean, saleable, and accurately recorded during stock take activities.
- Safely operate a forklift for loading/unloading trucks.
- Actively participate in team meetings and training; follow reasonable work requests.
